Whew. Just printed and signed my contracts. Yep. I'm matched. Meeting face to face in two weeks. Med screening was last Thursday and it went pretty well. I don't have the results back yet but I'm going to assume all went well. I still have not had a period since baby's birth so I am now (unfortunately) on birth control. Am I the only one who hates taking these stupid little pills? So much risk involved to your (my) health. I am calling tomorrow to find out how long I will be on them. It's just to sync my flow with the egg donor but I hope it is not for too long. Hate them!
During my trip to have my med screening I got the chance to stop by my first surrogate baby's home and have lunch with her and her Papa. She just turned two in July and wow has she changed since the last time I saw her in person! Oh and she's so sassy! Loves dresses, too. So cute. It was so nice to catch up with them and visit.
I am planning a trip to visit my second IF and his beautiful daughter in October. I am taking my Mom and the girls along too. Of course going back to NYC for a little fun. The girls are gaga over American Girls Dolls at the moment so lunch in the store with their new dolls is on the agenda, with the lovely BFF of my IF and her daughter. Should be alot of fun.
As for me, baby weight is off plus another 15 or so pounds and I just started a boot camp to push a little harder. So far so good and it feels good to get out and exercise. For once. Have I mentioned how hot it is here?????
