34 Weeks, 4 Days
So here I am at 34 weeks and 3 days. Was experiencing a Braxton Hicks at the moment of this pic. I experience those alot. As a matter of fact, while walking around Costco today for about 45 minutes, I felt as if I was having one loooong contraction the entire time. Today it was tough to walk. I couldn't move my legs normally because it felt like the baby was way down in my pelvis. I don't know exactly what the "Drop" is since all of my pregnancies thus far have consisted of babies twirling in my cervix and then kicks in the ribs just moments later. So does the "drop" mean they STAY down there? I have no idea.
As much as I love to feel her kick and move (and I really do! I would say about 95% of the time when baby kicks, I like to feel it with my hand), If I am going to lose the ability to walk then I think she should come out now. :) Besides, we are all ready to meet her anyway. I know I am. I can't wait to see what she looks like.
I had a few moments awhile back consisting of labor jitters. Of course that has passed and I look forward to the big day. I had almost 4 years between births last time so considering I just delivered in July of 2009, I think my body fully remembers what it will go through and was feeling a little apprehensive. You can't blame it! It is an ordeal for sure. Luckily the pain and swelling and ... comes later so you can enjoy the moment of bliss that is a baby being born.
So Sunday is my turn around day where I will be 35 weeks along. 5 weeks must be scaring the heck out of my IF. Are we ever really ready? Seriously.
